Custom: Jennie Finch - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Our final card is of softball legend, Jennie Finch.

    Jennie's due to have her baby at the end of June, and is going to play in this game in July? Whoa, that woman is AMAZING.

    Is this a new version of the MLB softball game that used to be sponsored by Pepsi? I remember that they brought Jennie in for some exhibition pitching during one of those events and only one current MLB player was even able to make contact (it was a pitcher, I forget who, and it was only a foul tip). It won't be fair if she pitches to retired players and celebrities. Hopefully they have a designated pitcher like the Pepsi game used to.

    cubsfan731 - Interesting. I didn't know she was pregnant. It's July 10th. I hope she shows up.

    offy - Not sure if it's the same one. This has been part of the All-Star game for at least a few years.
