I totally forgot I had this 2008 Topps Tony Abreu card signed. It's been over a year since a member of SportsGraphing.com helped me out. Tony was playing with the Royals Triple A team in Omaha at the time. He's now with the Giants big league club. He got a few at bats against the D-Backs this past weekend which reminded me I never did a post for this great card.
Tony spent some time playing for the Diamondbacks in 2010. He played in 81 games and got almost 200 at bats.

A few weeks ago we did a post for Casey Blake's card from series one of the 2008 Topps set. He also signed his card from the Updates & Highlights set for us. This one has him on the Dodgers. He was traded to Los Angeles from the Indians for Carlos Santana at the trade deadline that year.

Earlier this week two-time All-Star and the 2011 National League Cy Young award winner, Clayton Kershaw, signed his rookie card for our 2008 Topps set.
I made my first ever trip to Camelback Ranch for a Dodgers Spring Training practice. Man, the crowd was big. I mean I get it. They have tons of stars and Sandy Koufax was there too so that definitely didn't help. I fought hard to come home with a few signed cards. This one is by far my favorite.
Not a bad way to start off Spring Training 2013. Check back tomorrow for another former Cy Young award winner.

Blog reader Dan has helped us out with some great signed 2008 Topps cards in the past. This time he's really out done himself. He sent over seven new cards. All of them are amazing!
Next up is two-time All-Star and member of the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox, Derek Lowe. This is one of those cards that I figured I wouldn't be able to get signed for a long time. Plus I've never had anything signed by Lowe before so I was extra excited to add this one to our collection. Thanks, Dan!

Former Los Angeles Dodgers prospect, Andy LaRoche signed a card for our set. Andy is currently on the Oakland A's. I knew he was with the A's organization but was a little surprised to see he's actually on the big league roster. He's played in 29 games so far in 2011.# 162 - Andy LaRocheProgress: 414/990
Former Arizona State star, Andre Either signed a card for our set. I actually got this one back sometime last year but it ended up in the wrong pile and never was scanned. Andre's done pretty good since he signed this card for us. I remember something about a 30 game hitting streak.

Another former Dodgers pitcher who is now with the Brewers. Randy Wolf signed his card from Series One of the 2008 Topps Set. Back in 2009, he signed his card from the Updates & Highlights set for us.# 9 - Randy WolfProgress: 393/990
The Milwaukee Brewers signed former Dodgers closer, Takashi Saito this off season. Not sure where he fits in with the club. I guess he's a veteran presence to back up John Axford if necessary. Either way, I'm glad they brought him to camp this Spring Training.# 406 - Takashi SaitoProgress: 392/990
Chin-Lung Hu is currently on the roster of the Albuquerque Isotopes. He's been around for awhile now and I'm not really sure if he's going to make it. According to his Wikipedia article he's only 26 years old so I guess he does have some time. It just seems like we're pretty far removed from when he was named the MVP of the Futures Game in 2007. We received his 08 Topps card back signed from a 50/50 on SportsGraphing.com.# 23 - Ching-Lung HuProgress: 289/990
Dodgers star, James Loney must have been catching up on his mail during the offseason. We received our 08 Topps card back signed just before Spring Training started.James is one of several good, young players to come through the Dodgers system. With others like Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers should be a force to reckon with in the NL West for the foreseeable future.# 269 - James LoneyProgress: 276/990
The 2010 baseball season is well underway but we still have a handful of Spring Training autographs to catch up on.At a recent Spring Training practice, Cory Wade signed his card from the 08 Topps Updates & Highlights set for us. Cory is one of the keys to the Los Angeles Dodgers bullpen.# UH 297 - Cory WadeProgress: 252/990
The 2010 baseball season is well underway but we still have a handful of Spring Training autographs to catch up on.We didn't end up with quite as many Los Angeles Dodgers autographs as we would have liked but the few we got were pretty good. The first to make an appearance on our blog is Dodgers pitcher, Hiroki Kuroda.# 531 - Hiroki KurodaProgress: 251/990
Our next signed 2008 Topps card is of former Dodger, Delwyn Young. Delwyn seems to have found a home in the outfield for the Pittsburgh Pirates.# 431 - Delwyn YoungProgress: 163/990
Two more back tonight. Also sent a few more ST requests.# 638 - Juan Pierre# UH 189 - Micah HoffpauirProgress: 21/990
