# 247 - Edgar Gonzalez

Edgar was with the Diamondbacks for parts of six seasons. This was during a time when I wasn't really following the team closely. He started 35 games and had an ERA just under 6.

I was surprised to see that Edgar is still playing. In 2013 he made 8 appearances while splitting time with the Astros and Blue Jays.

I bought this card from a friend on SportsGraphing.com well over a year ago.

# 323 - Jose Valverde

We got this signed Jose Valverde card from that guy on SportsGraphing.com who goes down to the Dominican Republic once a year.

I'll probably try to get this League Leaders card signed by Trevor Hoffman next Spring Training but I'm not sure what to do about Francisco Cordero. Maybe he'll end up somewhere in the Cactus League. I won't be going too far out of my way to try to track him down.

# 504 - Conor Jackson

Former Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman, Conor Jackson is now with the Oakland A's. This guy was a fan favorite here in Arizona but I'm not sure if he'll see much playing time in Oakland.

# 8 - Stephen Drew

One of my main goals for this year's Diamondbacks Fan Fest was to get Stephen Drew to sign his card for our set. I got to Chase Field extremely early Saturday morning. Earlier in the week I had bought a few Subway sandwiches so I could become a Subway VIP. The VIP included an early entry to Fan Fest... after the season ticket holders.

Despite being near the front of the VIP line, a few of the autograph tickets were already sold out by the time I got to the front of the line. The sessions for Justin Upton, Kirk Gibson, and Drew were all gone. I was a little disappointed but I still got tickets for a few good tables.

Once inside, I got lucky and caught Stephen walking around in between events. He graciously signed our 2008 Topps card. Thanks, Stephen! Glad to have finally this one as part of our set.

Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder signed a card for our set. Got this one back last week before he was traded to the Pirates.

# 382 - Micah Owings

Former Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher and fan favorite, Micah Owings signed a card for our set. This one took over a year to get back to us but was well worth the wait.

# 180 - Jose Valverde

Next up is Jose Valverde. I bought this one of eBay from that guy who gets a bunch of autographs each winter in the Dominican Republic. Nice card of a former D-Back and 2007 All-Star.

# UH 103 - Chris Burke

I'm proud to announce another signed 08 Topps card of a former Diamondbacks player. My friend, Dan from SweetSpotGraphs.com, sent us this signed card of Chris Burke. Always great to add signed 08 Topps card for our set but it's even better when it's a D-Back.

# UH 293 - Adam Dunn

We received a few cards back signed in February and March that were sent earlier in the year. I decided to save them until after we finished our Spring Training posts.

One of the TTM successes we had just before Spring Training started was from former Arizona Diamondback, Adam Dunn.

Adam signed our 08 Topps card in ballpoint pen so the signature doesn't show up too great on the scan. It's not too bad in person.

# 191 - Orlando Hudson

Today is the first post for signed 08 Topps cards we were able to get signed Through The Mail during Spring Training 2010.

There will be no saving the best for last... first up is Orlando Hudson.

O-Dog was one of our favorite Diamondbacks players. I was very glad to get this card back signed last month.

# 163 - Doug Davis

Former Arizona Diamondbacks fan favorite, Doug Davis is back in Brewers camp this spring. He had previously pitched with the Brewers for four seasons before coming to the desert.

Little known fact: Doug has established the Doug Davis Foundation to help assist children with various medical, social and family needs. The foundation has done a great deal of work with helping the families of children with autism.

# 335 - Eric Byrnes

Another new Mariners position player showed up to camp early. Like Ryan Garko, Eric Byrnes will be fighting for a starting job this spring. Eric put up HUGE numbers in 2007 but hasn't been able to match that success. He was a fan favorite in Arizona and I'm glad to add this card to our set.

# 179 - Chris Young

Chris Young's second card from the 2008 Topps base set is post season highlights card.

In case you forgot, the Diamondbacks had the best record in the National League in 2007. The team was led by Randy Johnson and Brandon Webb on the mound and emerging stars like Orlando Hudson and Eric Byrnes. They defeated the Chicago Cubs in the NLDS and lost to the Colorado Rockies in the NLCS.

During that season Chris Young became the first rookie in MLB history to hit 30 home runs and steal 25 bases.

# 545 - Chris Young

Another player I was hoping I would be able to get a few autographs from was Diamondbacks outfielder, Chris Young. Mainly because Chris has two cards in the 08 Topps set.

First up is his regular issue from series two. Good looking card here featuring Chris after another DBacks win. It even has rookie cup trophy. What's not to like?

# UH 244 - Brandon Webb

Brandon Webb is a 3x All-Star so it's great to add his 2008 Topps All-Star card to our collection. If the Diamondbacks are to have any chance in the NL West this season, they'll need Brandon to return to his All-Star form. I think there's a really good chance that will happen.

# 140 - Brandon Webb

Another Fan Fest goal was to get Brandon Webb to sign his two cards from the 08 Topps set.

I've gotten Brandon's autograph before but only once since he won the Cy Young Award in 2006. Since then he's turned into a perennial All-Star and is one of the best Diamondbacks players of all-time.

# 130 - Justin Upton

One of my main goals for yesterday was to get Justin Upton to sign a few cards. As you can see below, we were successful.

It's great to be able to add another 09 All-Star to our set and one of our favorite DBacks players. Thanks, Justin!

# 83 - Mark Reynolds

I was going through a box of cards we got signed sometime in 2008 and found this Mark Reynolds card. If I remember correctly, we had sent Mark a TTM request around the beginning of the season and he sent this card back signed. This was before my son was born and before I even had the idea of trying to get this set signed.
