Happy Veteran's Day! Today we picked up another 2011 Topps Update All-Star Jersey card. 

This one is of Tampa Bay Rays pitcher, James Shields. This is our 32nd from the set.

Justin from Justin's World hooked us up with a sweet David Robertson jersey card for our 2011 Topps All-Star Jersey collection. Thanks, Justin!

I'm not sure exactly how many of these we have. I guess I need to build a checklist. I'll get to work on that.
 

2011 Topps All-Star Jersey Card - Justin Upton

Score! We finally found a 2011 Topps Diamond Anniversary parallel All-Star Jersey Card of Justin Upton. This has been on my want list for some time so it's good to finally have it.

When these first came out, the Upton cards were selling for more than I wanted to pay. Back around the beginning of summer I found this one for a pretty good price so I grabbed it.

Justin is struggling a bit this season and there are plenty of trade rumors out there. Hopefully he's still on our team for Justin Upton bobblehead day on July 28th.

On a side note, I've created a new label for our collection of 2011 Topps All-Star Jersey Cards.

2011 Topps All-Star Jersey Card - C.J. Wilson

I'm still collecting the All-Star jersey cards from the 2011 Topps Update set. It's just been awhile since we've picked up a new one.

I was a pretty big fan of C.J. Wilson's during his time with the Texas Rangers. I was happy to see him make his first All-Star appearance in 2011. I wasn't as happy to watch him go to the Angels during the off-season.

Totally scored a diamond anniversary parallel Troy Tulowitzki jersey card to go with our collection of 2011 Topps Update All-Star jersey cards. Got this one for less than five bucks. It's numbered 12/60 on the lower right corner.

2011 Topps Update All-Star Stitches Jersey Cards - Part Two

You may remember our post last October where we had picked up 28 different All-Star jersey cards from the 2011 Topps Update set. Well I picked up three more recently including the Justin Upton that I had been wanting from the start.

2011 Topps Update All-Star Stitches Jersey Cards

You may remember that thanks to my Dad, I was able to go to the 2011 All-Star Game here in Phoenix. Soon after we got the tickets, I realized that Topps would probably have All-Star jersey cards in their Update set. I was right.

I've been busy trying to pick up as many of these as I can. Right now I have 28 different players, not including the duplicates with a different jersey color. I've already gotten most of the ones I want but I'm still on the lookout for a few ( Justin Upton, Gio Gonzalez, C.J. Wilson come to mind ).

Some of the pics Topps chose for these are a little boring but overall I like them. Kind of a cool souvenir from the most awesome baseball game I've ever been to.
