# 308 - Felipe Lopez

We haven't had too many of these this month but it's time for another signed 08 Topps card. 2005 National League All-Star, Felipe Lopez signed a card for our set. In his ten year career, Felipe has played for nine different teams including the Diamondbacks. Around the end of his time here in Arizona, I remember hearing a lot about his bad attitude in the clubhouse and lack of hustle on the field. I'll be curious to see where he lands in 2012.

Former Washinton Nationals pitcher, Mike Bacsik signed a card for our set. I remember Mike best for giving up career home run # 756 to Barry Bonds.

Veteran right hander, Tim Redding signed a card for our set. After spending time with the Astros, Padres, Yankees, Nationals, and Mets Tim is now with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is currently assigned to their Triple A team, the Albuquerque Isotopes.

# 530 - Ryan Zimmerman

2009 National League All-Star, Ryan Zimmerman signed a card for our set. We recently sent Ryan an autograph request along with a small donation to his charity, ziMS Foundation. Ryan's charity helps raise money for families effected by Multiple Sclerosis. If you're interested in organizing you're own charity events, visit socialworkdegree.org for some helpful resources. Pretty cool to get an autograph from a current star through the mail.

Our friend, Raiderdan, sent us a lot of signed 08 Topps cards this year. We're very thankful for all of his contributions to our set.

The latest card he sent over is of Washington Nationals pitcher, Shawn Hill. I thought Shawn has a pretty cool autograph. Glad to have this great looking card in our collection.

# UH 87 - Ryan Langerhans

Outfielder Ryan Langerhans has played on four organizations since his Major League debut in 2002. He is currently with the Seattle Mariners after stops in Atlanta, Oakland, and Washington.

This is another card we were able to get signed during Spring Training in March.

2005 National League All-Star Chad Cordero is working on a comeback with the Seattle Mariners. He's been injured since the 2008 season but it seems like he's ready to compete for the M's closer role.

A friend over at SportsGraphing.com helped me out with six signed 08 Topps cards.

The sixth and final card is of Washington Nationals pitcher, Jason Bergmann. The former Rutgers University star will be fighting this Spring to hold down a spot in an improved Nationals rotation.

# 92 - Ross Detwiler

In 2007, Ross Detwiler was the sixth overall pick in the draft. Today, he signed a card for our set. Thanks, Ross!

After a good college career at Missouri State University, Ross was selected by the Washington Nationals with their first pick. He played for the Peoria Saguaros during the Arizona Fall League in 2008. After starting this season in AA, Ross was called up to the big club on May 18th. So far this season, he is 0-2 with an ERA over 5. Hopefully Ross continues making progress and will become part of the solution in turning around the Nationals franchise.
