It's nice to have some new signed 2008 Topps cards to blog about.
Next up is two-time All-Star and 2005 American League Cy Young award winner, Bartolo Colon. I remember trying to get Bartolo's autograph once before when he was on the Angels. He almost ran us over with his car in the parking lot.
A few years have passed and this time my experience was completely different. On the day I went over to the A's camp, Bartolo took a seat on the bleachers and signed for everyone who asked. Totally awesome.

Spring Training games start today and it's time to start posting some of the cards we've gotten signed this year.I'll start off with a few Texas Rangers. Former Boston Red Sox catcher, Kevin Cash is with the Rangers this Spring. He signed his card from the Updates & Highlights set for us. He also gave my son a baseball. Thanks, Kevin!# UH 15 - Kevin CashProgress: 387/990
Starting off July with another signed 08 Topps card. This one is of infielder, Alex Cora. Alex was part of the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox.# 502 - Alex CoraProgress: 298/990

Three time All-Star and current MLB Network analyst, Sean Casey signed his card from the U&H set. I love the MLB Network and am very glad to get this one back.UH # 2 - Sean CaseyProgress: 71/990
I wasn't really sure what to do with card # 234 at first. No one Red Sox player is really predominately featured. Instead of going with a current player or coach, I quickly decided it would better to have this one signed by a Red Sox legend. Who better than Hall of Fame second baseman, Bobby Doerr?Bobby Doerr quickly signed my "Postseason Highlights" card. Thanks, Bobby! This is already one of my favorites from the set.# 234 - Postseason HighlightsProgress: 51/990
Glad to get this one back today. Hideki Okajima signed an 08 Topps for the set. After serveral all-star seasons in Japan, Hideki came to the United States in 2007. During his first season he was named to the American League All-Star team and helped the Red Sox win the World Series.# 379 - Hideki OkajimaProgress: 45/990
Good mail day. Former Tigers closer Todd Jones and Red Sox prospect Justin Masterson both signed an 08 Topps card for me. Thanks, guys!# 484 - Todd Jones# UH 20 - Justin MastersonProgress: 19/990
Turned on MLB Network after I got home from work. A live Spring Training game featuring the Seattle Mariners against Australia's World Baseball Classic team was just beginning. This was first Spring Training game that Ken Griffey has played in this year. The stands looked pretty empty so I decided to go check it out. Griffey left after two at bats and didn't sign. I didn't end up staying too long but did okay. Got two for the Topps set and a few others.
