Former Boston Red Sox reliever, Hideki Okajima resurfaced this Spring over at the Oakland A's camp.

Okajima was really nice on the day we saw him. He signed a few cards for us including this white border parallel from the 2008 Topps Opening Day set.

# 214 - Emilio Bonifacio - Opening Day White Border Parallel

Does anyone else listen to ESPN's Fantasy Focus Baseball podcasts? If you do, you're probably familiar with their "Bona fide or Bonifacio?" drop. It's my personal favorite with "The Dirty Fuentes" coming in at a close second.

Anyway due to that drop, I've become a fan of Emilio Bonifacio. Plus he put up some good fantasy numbers for me before landing on the DL recently.

A friend on SportsGraphing.com helped me out by getting the White Border Parallel version of Emilio's 2008 Topps Opening Day card signed for us. Pretty cool.

This is our fourth signed White Border Parallel card from the 2008 Topps Opening Day set. Man, I had no idea I would be going after all of these different variations when I started this collection / blog. It's probably a good thing since it's starting to get harder to find new players to add to our base set.

This is our third signed White Border Parallel card from the 2008 Topps Opening Day set. Personally, I think a white border parallel is kind of boring but these are numbered to 2199 so I guess they're kind of cool.

# 81 - Orlando Hudson - Opening Day White Border Parallel

Orlando Hudson signed his white border parallel card from the 2008 Topps Opening Day set for us. This is the second white border parallel card that we were able to get signed during Spring Training.

# 62 - Brandon Webb - Opening Day White Border Parallel

Starting March off with a signed card of the 2006 National League Cy Young award winner. Brandon Webb signed with the Rangers this off season as a free agent. After missing almost two full seasons, it would be nice to see him back on track. Unfortunately everything I've heard so far points to him not being ready for Opening Day.

This is the first 2008 Opening Day White Border Parallel card that we have gotten signed. These are pretty cool and are numbered to only 2199.
