# 32 - Shaquille O'Neal

Around the beginning of summer I saw where a few people get back autographs from NBA legend, Shaquille O'Neal. I picked up his 2008 Topps card and sent off a request. As the weeks passed, I began to think that my card probably wouldn't be coming back. To my surprise it showed up in the mail today signed in black. Thanks, Shaq!

# 41 - Dirk Nowitzki - Chrome Orange Refractor

Got a nice return today from the NBA's Most Valuable Player in 2007. Dallas Mavericks star, Dirk Nowitzski signed an Orange Refractor from the 2008 Topps Chrome Basketball set.

# 181 - Rick Barry - Black Border Parallel

This is only the second 2008 Topps Basketball card in our collection but it's a good one. We recently purchased a black border parallel card of Basketball Hall of Famer, Rick Barry. Nice card of the 12x All-Star and it's numbered to just 51.

# 183 - Lenny Wilkens

Today ushers in another historic moment here at My 2008 Topps Set Blog. Here is our first signed 08 Topps card from the basketball set. It is of three time Basketball Hall of Famer, Lenny Wilkens. That's right he's been inducted into the Hall of Fame three times. Once as a player, once as a coach, and once as part of the 1992 Olympic Dream Team.

No, I won't be trying to get the entire basketball set signed but I'll probably pick up a few here and there of players who sign TTM.

I've been wanting to get this one for awhile and I'm glad it is now part of our collection.
