The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that 1 in every 110 children in the United States have an Austim Spectrum Disorder. There's a good chance you may know someone with autism. If you're like me and that person is part of your immediate family, there's an even better chance that this is something that greatly effects every day of your life.
I know extra money is hard to come by right now but if you have the ability to spare a few dollars for a worthy cause, please consider making a donation to Autism Speaks. They are a nationwide organization that helps families affected by autism and with autism research.
