Wow. I haven't done a 2008 Topps post in awhile. I've gotten a few new things for our collection that I need to scan. Maybe I'll work on that this weekend.
In the meantime, here's a card that former Chicago White Sox outfielder, Jerry Owens, signed for us. I sent Jerry a TTM request earlier this year c/o the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League. It came back a few short days later signed.

We had a little help with getting Josh Fields to sign his 2008 Topps card for our set. A friend on SportsGraphing.com was able to get his autograph for us at a Lehigh Valley IronPigs game.
You may remember Josh from his time at Oklahoma State University. In addition to playing baseball, he was the quarterback for the Cowboys.

Octavio Dotel signed his card from the 2008 Topps Updates & Highlights set for us. Dotel has the distinction of having played on 13 different teams during his career. That's more than any other player in the history of Major League Baseball.

This signed card of former Chicago White Sox reliever, D.J. Carrasco came to us from our friend Raiderdan on SweetSpotGraphs.com. Another nice one. Thanks, Dan!
I hadn't been to SSG in awhile and it looks like it may have been shut down. Anyone know?

We picked up this signed 08 Topps card of former White Sox closer and two-time All-Star, Bobby Jenks. Pretty cool.# 215 - Bobby JenksProgress: 430/990
Another nice success. Former Chaparral High School star and current Chicago White Sox first baseman, Paul Konerko signed a card for our set.# 296 - Paul KonerkoProgress: 184/990
Got this one back from a 50/50. Lance Broadway was recently traded from the White Sox organization to the Mets. This former first round draft pick is currently playing for the Buffalo Bisons in AAA. # 284 - Lance BroadwayProgress: 127/990
I actually got this one back a few weeks ago but somehow it ended up in the wrong pile and never got scanned. Anyway, it was great to get a signed card back from AJ Pierzynski. AJ is a fine catcher but two oddball moments stick out in my mind when I think of him. Of course the first is the called third strike during the 2005 World Series. The second is when Michael Barrett punched him the face.# 565 - A.J. PierzynskiProgress: 118/990
New York Yankees outfielder, Nick Swisher signed the card below from a TTM request. This is one of my favorites so far. Thanks, Nick!# 420 - Nick SwisherProgress: 98/990
Got another good one back. Chicago White Sox pitcher, Mark Buehrle signed a card for the set. Mark is a three time All-Star and a World Series Champion. Needless to say, I am very glad to get this one back.# 224 - Mark BuehrleProgress: 77/990
A good way to start off May...White Sox starting pitcher, John Danks signed the card below in a little over two weeks. John had a good season last year, winning eleven games for the American League Central Division Champions. I have a feeling John will do even better this year.# 508 - John DanksProgress: 56/990
