Blog reader Dan has helped us out with some great signed 2008 Topps cards in the past. This time he's really out done himself. He sent over seven new cards. All of them are amazing!
I remember Jeremy Accardo best from the 2007 season when he filled in as the Blue Jays closer when B.J. Ryan was out with an injury. This year he's part of the Cleveland Indians bullpen and is doing quite well since being called up about a month ago.

Dan had better luck writing to Shawn Marcum this Spring Training than I did trying to get him in person. Shawn's off to a pretty good start with the Brewers this year. It's really great to have this one in our collection. Thanks, Dan!# 472 - Shawn MarcumProgress: 408/990
Former Texas Rangers slugger, Kevin Mench spent most of 2010 with the Syracuse Chiefs. That's where a friend got this card signed for us. Kevin was called up near the end of the season and played in 27 games for the Washington Nationals.# UH 326 - Kevin MenchProgress: 358/990

Spring Training is always a good time to try to write to Tornoto Blue Jays players since its cheaper and easier than mailing to Canada. We wrote to a few Blue Jays but only received our cards back from pitcher, Dustin McGowan.Dustin's 08 Topps card is a little dark so the signature didn't show up too well.# 187 - Dustin McGowanProgress: 263/990
The second card zman40 from Autographed Cards sent me is of former Toronto Blue Jays manager, John Gibbons. I had no idea that John was a coach for the Kansas City Royals this year. Thanks again, Zach!# 556 - John GibbonsProgress: 157/990
