# 220 - Brian Bass - Chrome Blue Refractor

Former Minnesota Twins reliever, Brian Bass, signed his 2008 Topps Chrome Blue Refractor for us. Brian is currently pitching for the Camden Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League.

I have a bunch of new 2008 Topps stuff. This will the first post to kick off a nice little run.

Zach from Autographed Cards was in town this week. We met up yesterday over in Surprise to catch the Diamondbacks and Royals game. We were able to get a few autographs pregame. Nothing too earth shattering but I did go home with this 2008 Topps Chrome Refractor signed by Eric Chavez.

# 222 - Felipe Paulino - Chrome Bronze Refractor

Most of the players on the checklist from the 2008 Topps Chrome certified autos haven't had much of an impact in the big leagues. Felipe Paulino is one who is still hanging around.

He missed some time last year after Tommy John surgery but the Royals recently signed him to a new contract. There's a good chance he'll be back in 2013 sometime after the All-Star break.

This is the first bronze refractor parallel auto for our 2008 Topps collection. We also have Felipe's blue refractor version but we're still missing his base and regular refractor.

I grabbed this one for $3 shipped. Not bad for a card numbered to 50.

# 226 - Daric Barton - Chrome Blue Refractor

After hitting below the Mendoza line in 100+ at bats this season, Daric Barton has found himself back in Triple A again. I'm disappointed for him. When the A's got him from the Cardinals way back in 2004 as part of the Mark Mulder deal, he seemed like a can't miss prospect. Unfortunately he missed.

That means there's not much of a market for his 2008 Topps Chrome certified autos. I paid less than $3 shipped for this blue refractor numbered to 200.

I love these Blue Refractor Certified Autographs. They're super colorful and numbered to only 200. I saw this Evan Meek for a few bucks and grabbed it.

I just picked up a few new certified autographs from the 2008 Topps Chrome set. I already have quite a few of these but I'm trying to fill in the holes.

# 119 - Cameron Maybin - Chrome

I have Cameron Maybin on a few of my fantasy baseball teams this year. So far he's not doing so hot. Hopefully he can start to get on base more and rack up big numbers in steals.

Here's a 2008 Topps Chrome card that he signed for us during Spring Training. It goes nicely with the Refractor we posted earlier this month.

We also got Cameron Maybin to sign his 08 Topps Chrome Refractor at that same Rockies/Padres game I mentioned yesterday. Cameron's a really nice guy and he had a great August and September last season. Hopefully he continues to improve and becomes the star everyone thought he would be.

# 4 - Stephen Drew - Chrome Bronze Refractor

This is the final card that Stephen Drew signed for us at the Diamondbacks Fan Fest earlier this month. This one's pretty cool. It's the bronze refractor version of his 2008 Topps Chrome card. It's numbered to 599 on the back.

Finally a good TTM success to report. Stephen Drew signed his card from the 2008 Topps Chrome set for us. I'm hoping to see Stephen at the D-Backs Fan Fest. I've got the Bronze Refractor version of this card that I would like to get signed too.

# 35 - Mike Cameron - Bronze Refractor

I've met Mike Cameron a few times during Spring Training when he was with the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres. He has to be one of the nicest, fan-friendly players that I've ever seen.

Mike came through for us again. This time he signed his Bronze Refractor from the 2008 Topps Chrome set. This one looks great signed in black Sharpie. It's numbered 137/599 on the back.

Got a nice return from former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder, Mike Cameron. Mike signed his XFractor from the 2008 Topps Chrome set for us. If you're keeping track at home, this is only our second signed XFractor.

I've been wanting to add a J.R. Towles certified Chrome auto to our collection for awhile now. While I still haven't picked up his regular auto, this Refractor is even better.

My dad and I were looking through a box of his baseball cards last week and we found a few certified autographs from the 2008 Topps set.

The final card is from the 2008 Topps Chrome set and is of Tampa Bay Rays star, Sam Fuld.
