# 292 - Mark Loretta

After about eighteen months, Mark Loretta signed and sent back his 2008 Topps card for our set. I was glad to get this one back. Mark was a pretty good player. He was a two-time All-Star and he won a Silver Slugger Award in 2004. After retiring Mark took a front office job with the Padres.

More mail! I'm really glad we sent off some TTM requests earlier this month. We're already starting to get some great cards back.

Two-time All-Star Darin Erstad signed his Series 2 2008 Topps card for our set. Darin was recently named the hitting coach for the University of Nebraska baseball team.

A friend on SportsGraphing.com who's home team is the Norfolk Tides got Troy Patton to sign his 08 Topps card for us. In case you were wondering, the Tides are the Triple A team for the Baltimore Orioles.

# UH 222 - Dave Borkowski

Dave Borkowski managed to put together a Major League career that stretched over 10 seasons without me every even hearing of him. He pitched for three organizations ( Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Houston Astros ) and won 13 games. Dave retired after the 2008 season and is now the pitching coach for the Greeneville Astros.

I'm glad Ryan from The Great Orioles Autograph Project sent this signed card over the other day. I might have had difficulty tracking Dave down.

A friend over at SportsGraphing.com helped me out with six signed 08 Topps cards.

The fourth card we received is of Houston Astros pitcher, Wandy Rodriguez. Wandy put together a nice season last year. He finished in the top ten in strikeouts and ERA for National League pitchers.

# 177 - Josh Anderson

A friend over at SportsGraphing.com helped me out with six signed 08 Topps cards.

The third card I received is of former Houston Astros outfielder, Josh Anderson. Josh spent time last year with the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals. He is currently getting ready for his first Opening Day in a Cincinnati Reds uniform.

Long-time catcher and current Los Angeles Dodger, Brad Ausmus signed an 08 Topps card for us TTM. Brad made his big league debut back in 1993 with the San Diego Padres. He has also played with the Detroit Tigers and Houston Astros.
