Andrew Bogut Bobblehead

I spent most of last week driving around the valley going to different Spring Training sites. I found myself near a Goodwill store and decided to go in. To my surprise they had this Andrew Bogut Milwaukee Bucks bobblehead for a dollar. I'm not sure how it ended up in Phoenix but it's now mine.

Brandon Webb Bobblehead

A coworker who sits at a cubicle near mine is moving to a new area of our building. While packing up her belongings she decided it was time to downsize some of the miscellaneous things she had acquired over the years. This Brandon Webb bobblehead was one of the items up for grabs. I didn't have it so I was glad to take it home.

This was a stadium giveaway from 2007 and commemorates Webb winning the Cy Young award the year prior. 

Dan Haren Bobblehead

I had a great idea this morning. I was going to go to the swap meet. After seeing other bloggers find cool stuff at their local thrift stores and flea markets I wanted to give it a shot too. 

I hadn't been to a swap meet in many years and didn't know what to expect. There were tons of people selling new hats, beauty products, and cell phone accessories. I was also surprised to find several dealers selling only underwear. New items I think.

I only found one booth that had something that interested me. One guy had a table with some newer Star Wars action figures, an unopened 1994 Chad Curtis Kenner Starting Lineup figure, and a Dan Haren bobblehead.

After a tough negotiation I brought home the 2009 D-Backs stadium giveaway for $5.

Paul Goldschmidt Bobblehead

Yesterday was Paul Goldschmidt bobblehead day at Chase Field. My wife and I conquered the crowds and brought this little guy home. 

The game itself was just okay. The D-Backs lost to the Mets 4-1. It seems like we lose every time I'm in attendance this year. 

I'll be back out there in three weeks for Throwback Night and the second annual Alumni Game. Hopefully we'll still have a chance at making the playoffs then. 

Adrian Gonzalez Bobblehead Night

We took a road trip to California this week. The best part of our vacation so far has been being able to take my son to his first game at Dodger Stadium. It's the fifth stadium he's been to and he hasn't even turned five yet. 

The highlight of the game was that today was Adrian Gonzalez bobblehead night!

Unfortunately for the Dodgers won their fifth straight game and are currently a game and a half behind the D-Backs for first place. 

Aaron Hill #BiCycle Bobblehead - Silver Slugger Edition

Last night we headed over to Chase Field for Aaron Hill bobblehead night. This one commemorates Aaron hitting for the cycle twice last year. In addition to the regular version, the Diamondbacks created 1000 silver bobbleheads to honor the Silver Slugger award he won last year.

There was a huge crowd last night of over 44,000 fans so we were lucky to get our two bobbleheads as we entered the gates. We were even luckier to get one of the silver ones.

Unfortunately the D-Backs lost miserably to the Giants 10-5.

Wade Miley Garden Gnome

The little dude and I went to the Diamondbacks game last night. We had a good time and brought home with a Wade Miley garden gnome.

#iScored a Golden Gerardo Parra Bobblehead

Last week the Diamondbacks held a scavenger hunt in eight locations across Arizona. Each day they gave different clues on Twitter as to where fans could find golden Gerardo Parra bobbleheads. Only the first eight people at each location would win.

The Tuesday location was on my side of town so I figured I'd give it a shot. My wife said I was probably wasting my time. I responded "Don't worry, I've got this."

After clue number two I headed over to our old neighborhood Taco Bell and was the fifth D-Backs fan to arrive.

In addition to the golden bobblehead I won two, lower level tickets to Saturdays game where they were giving away the non-golden Gerardo Parra bobbleheads.

The whole thing was really cool plus I ran into Dan from It's Like Having My Own Card Shop.
