Custom: 1981 Fleer Star Stickers - Chumlee

I've been watching Pawn Stars religiously since the summer of 2009 when it started. I even made my wife visit their store with me when we went to Las Vegas that next summer.

The other day I came across a 1981 Fleer Star Stickers Andre Dawson card. I thought the design would make for a nice custom Pawn Stars baseball card. I chose to use Las Vegas's most eligible bachelor, Chumlee!

The card is pretty much like the originals except I went with a more psychedelic font for Chum's name.

Custom: 1986 Topps - The League

I knocked out the first three seasons of The League on Netflix and am starting on the new episodes currently airing on FX.

If you haven't seen this show, it's pretty great. It's about five friends who play in a fantasy football league together. If you've been turned off because you're not hardcore into fantasy sports, you're missing out. Their friendship and the crazy antics they get into together are just downright hilarious.

I made a few custom 1986 Topps football cards of the guys: Kevin, Taco, Ruxin, Pete and Andre.

Custom: Trevor Bauer - 1988 Starting Lineup

Man, I haven't made a custom card in over a year.

I've been meaning to see what I could come up with for a custom SLU card all summer. I finally sat down and got to work. After a few minutes of tinkering, I came up with this one of Diamondbacks prospect, Trevor Bauer.

Growing up my dad and I enjoyed collecting Kenner Starting Lineup figures. I still have a ton of figures and cards. I guess we bought them hoping they'd be worth something one day. Unfortunately they now have more sentimental value than actual value.

Custom: Jennie Finch - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Our final card is of softball legend, Jennie Finch.

Custom: Jordin Sparks - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Right now, you're probably thinking... "Hey! It's Jordin Sparks. Didn't she win American Idol?" You're so smart.

Custom: Amaury Nolasco - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

You may remember Amaury Nolasco from the television show, Prison Break or the cinematic classic, 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Custom: Nick Jonas - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Custom: Goose Gossage - 2008 Topps

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Most of the cards I made were for the celebrities but here's one of baseball legend and Hall of Famer, Goose Gossage.

Earlier this week MLB.com started announcing who will be participating in the 2011 Taco Bell All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game. I decided to make a few custom cards for some of the participants.

Custom: Alcides Escobar - 2008 Topps

Here's a card I made of former Milwaukee Brewers prospect, Alcides Escobar. The photo is from when he played in the All-Star Futures Game in 2007.

Have I mentioned that the 2011 game is in Arizona and I'll be going? I've been wanting to go to the Futures Game since it started in 1999. This year, I'll finally get the chance to go. Super cool.

Custom: Derek Jeter - 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusiCards

Okay this will be the last 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusicCards custom for awhile. This one is of New York Yankees captain, Derek Jeter. I made it the same night I made the Ian Kinsler. Only took about five mintues.

You can see the version with Pro Set's logo by clicking here. The Yankees logo looks so much better.

Custom: Ian Kinsler - 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusiCards

I thought the Orlando Hudson card I made last week was pretty rad so I decided to make another. This one is a vertical version of Ian Kinsler. Same classic 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusiCards design but while I was working on it, I realized I could easily replace the Pro Set logo with the Texas Rangers logo. Awesome!

You can see the original with the Pro Set logo by clicking here.

I liked the logo so much, I even went back and fixed O-Dog.

Custom: Orlando Hudson - 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusiCards

Custom Card Sunday is back! Remember the 1991 Pro Set Super Stars MusiCards? The set featured early 90s music legends like Vanilla Ice. Well I made an Orlando Hudson card based off their design.

Custom: Ozzie Smith - 1988 Score

Yesterday on 30-Year Old Cardboard Brian did a post on Ozzie Smith's 1988 Score card. He commented that the purple border would have looked better in red. I borrowed his scan, fired up the Photoshop, and 5 minutes later I had this...

Here's the original:

Custom: Joey Chestnut

You can't get any more American than by sitting down and watching the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating contest on the Fourth of July. In just a matter of minutes, Joey Chestnut will look to win his fourth consecutive contest. It won't be the same this year without Kobayshi but we'll still be watching.

Happy Fourth of July!

Custom: Jackie Robinson - 2008 Topps

Why Jackie Robinson? K'mon, you really have to ask?

# 20 - Jackie Robinson

Custom: Trevor Hoffman - 1973 Topps

Why Trevor Hoffman? He might just be the best closer of all-time.

Why not an 08 Topps card? I wanted to try something new and came up with this design that's reminiscent of the 1973 Topps football set.

Custom: Elvis Andrus - 2008 Topps

Why Elvis Andrus? He's putting up All-Star numbers in 2010.

Elvis Andrus seems to be the next Venezuelan born All-Star shortstop following legends like Luis Aparicio and Omar Vizquel. This year he is hitting .312 with 30 runs scored and 17 stolen bases. If he continues to put up numbers like this, there's a pretty good chance he will be playing in Anaheim this July.

# 19 - Elvis Andrus ( custom )

Custom: Nolan Ryan - 2008 Topps

Why Nolan Ryan? Dallas Braden's perfect game last Sunday got me thinking about no hitters. Thinking about no hitters led me to think about Nolan Ryan.

# 18 - Nolan Ryan ( custom )
