# UH 139 - Jon Lieber - Gold Border Parallel

Former Chicago Cubs ace, Jon Lieber, signed his 2008 Topps Gold Border Parallel card for us. You may remember that Jon signed his base card for us way back on December 21, 2009. It was our 183rd signed 08 Topps card. You can check out that classic post here.

Jon actually signed two cards for us from a recent TTM request. I'll show off the other tomorrow.

# 651 - Martin Prado - Gold Border Parallel

Way before Martin Prado was traded to the Diamondbacks, we had already acquired his signed 2008 Topps card. Remember this post from 2010?

Right before Spring Training I picked up his gold border parallel from the 08 Topps set. He signed it for us at a practice just the other day.

I listened to an interesting interview on MLB Network Radio the other day where Chipper Jones talked about how much the Braves were going to miss Prado. Hopefully he'll be a key piece to some good D-Backs teams for the next few years.

# 485 - J.J. Putz - Gold Border Parallel

I found out on Friday that Diamondbacks closer, J.J. Putz was going to be at a free signing at a local AT&T store Saturday morning. My son and I headed over there wearing our D-Backs shirts and went home with two signed cards.

The second card is a gold border parallel for our 08 Topps collelction!

# UH64 - Joe Nathan - Gold Border Parallel

One of my goals this past Spring Training was to try to get a few more gold border parallel cards signed. Here's another one. 2008 American League All-Star and current Texas Rangers closer, Joe Nathan signed a gold border parallel for our collection.

# 22 - Ron Washington - Gold Border Parallel

I'm sure Ron Washington is having fun again this year leading the Rangers. They're in first place and have to be the favorites to return to the World Series for a third straight time. If they're able to make it, hopefully this time they can win.

Ron signed the gold border parallel version of is 08 Topps manager card for us during Spring Training.

Josh Hamilton hit another home run today. It's his 18th of the season. Dude's had an amazing week. Let's hope it continues. He signed the gold border parallel version of his 2008 Topps Home Run Derby card for us this past Spring Training.

Another Gold Border Parallel for our collection. This one is of former Dodgers closer and current D-Backs reliever, Takashi Saito.

Josh Hamilton signed the Gold Border parallel version of his 2008 Topps Series Two card for us. Hopefully Josh can stay healthy for the rest of the year and win another MVP award.

I had a few nice days over at the Rangers camp this year. I ended up with a few new Josh Hamilton autographs. This one is the gold border parallel version of his All-Star card from the Updates & Highlights set.

# 146 - Aaron Hill - Gold Border Parallel

Back in July of 2010 we added the signed base version of Aaron Hill's 2008 Topps card to our collection. Since I knew he'd be at the Diamondbacks Fan Fest this year, I had to come up with some different cards to get signed. Fortunately he had a few nice options including this Gold Border Parallel.

This is our final post for Spring Training 2011. Dallas Braden signed his gold border parallel card for us. Really cool card signed by a really nice guy.

One of the guys who has been wearing a Padres uniform longer than most of the other current San Diego Padres, Chase Headley signed a Gold Border Parallel card for our collection.

# UH 320 - Heath Bell - Gold Border Parallel

We were able to get a few 08 Topps-related cards signed at the San Diego Padres complex in Peoria at their Spring Training Fan Fest a few weeks ago.

Two-time All-Star closer, Heath Bell signed a Gold Border Parallel card for our collection. Hopefully the Padres can find a way to resign him and keep him in San Diego for a long time.
